A Word about the Builder
Ken Otterman, Founder, was born and raised in the state of Pennsylvaniaand received his formal education in Business with a BS Degree in Accounting from PennStateUniversity. The on the job application and continual education have kept him fresh to the ever changing environment of the Home Building Industry and Real Estate environment. Ken has authored several books and has been published in over thirty newsletters, magazines, and trade publications over the past twenty five years. The subject of his writing embraces real estate investing, management, tax shelters, home purchasing, construction, negotiation and finance.
Having attended more than one hundred workshops and seminars and having taught seminars on this subject in forty-two different states encompassing over one hundred cities, Mr. Otterman’s knowledge is evident. What’s more important though is his ability to share that experience with associates and clients as an ongoing part of his work. Ken has been directly involved with countless municipalities both in the western and eastern states developing real estate. He has attended more than five hundred settlements on his own account. Ken has worked as a consultant on more than seventy projects for other interests and has been in demand as a consultant for more than fifteen years.
KJ Otterman, President, oversees all construction for Classic Special Custom Homes. His 10 years of experience in Mountain Home Building has garnered praise from Lenders, sub-contractors, homeowners and designers throughout the Yampa Valley. His ability to stay on track within budgets and schedules while maintaining relationships with homeowners is his biggest talent - in addition to cultivating solid, goal oriented young men and women who are eager to further their career in the homebuilding trade. His enthusiasm for learning new design techniques and adapting to change are assets that homeowners appreciate on every level.

Because each client is an individual and presents a different set of challenges, each home Classic builds is individually crafted and created and no two houses are ever alike. Classic will help you match your budget to your dream. You can start with your own plan if you like. In the first meeting Classic will gather information that will specifically define your ideal home. Together with Classic's Home Consultant, you can change and modify, add and adjust, move and delete until the plan is just what you want from your new home.
